- July 11th, 2008: Langholtz co-presented "Woody biomass at the southern wildland-urban interface: the wood to energy outreach program" at: 14th International Symposium on Society and Resource Management, Burlington, VT
- June 4th, 2008: Langholtz presented "Transportation of Woody Biomass" at: Northeast Texas Woody Bioenergy Symposium, Jefferson, TX
- February 2008: Richard Schroeder will address the Biomass Supply Chain and Logistics Update 2008 conference on February 18 in Nashville, TN. The focus of his talk is corn and cellulosic ethanol logistics; see more at http://www.biomassupdate.org
- January 2008: BioResource Management is pleased to announce the hiring of Brian Condon. Brian's domestic and international experience with forestry and agriculture and his training in economics will complement BioResource's research and project management team.
- January 2008: The Florida Biomass Energy Consortium, of whom BioResource Management is a member, was awarded a $2.5 million renewable energy grant from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. The project will construct a wood gasifier to be employed in industrial drying applications in Jacksonville, FL.
- October 23rd, 2007: Dr. Matthew Langholtz is invited to speak at the Environment and Energy Study Institute's second Congressional briefing on the national RPS proposed in HR 3221.
- September 11th, 2007: Richard Schroeder and Dr. Matthew Langholtz present "Local Biomass Supply Curve Construction", "Sustainable Production of Woody Biomass", and "Biomass Transportation Issues" at the Woody Biomass Outreach Training in Atlanta, Georgia.
